The Asser Christelijke Voetbalvereniging (English Assen Christian Football club), also known as ACV, is a Dutch amateur football club, based in Assen. The club was founded in 1939 and is one of the most successful amateur clubs in Dutch football. The club currently plays in the Saturday Hoofdklasse C, the fourth tier in the Dutch league system. In 2008, the club relegated for the first time since 1974 from the Hoofdklasse to the Eerste Klasse E. But after a successful season in 2008-09, ACV promoted as unbeaten champions back to the Hoofdklasse.
